"Raise the minimum wage so people can live off it". Are you daft?
The Minimum wage was NOT intended for people to live off of it, it was intended as a starting point. You MUST WORK HARD to earn more than that. Those people who chose to stay in a minimum wage job should get just that.
If the morons in Washington raise the Wage, you WILL NOT MAKE MORE MONEY!!! You will make less. Who do you think is going to pay for the wage increase? The employer? Yeah right!
The prices that we pay will go up and go up a lot. Do you want to pay $5 for a candy bar? Well if you guys don't leave the wage alone you will very soon.
The minimum wage is something that could be put into a list of things that should be gotten rid of....like affirmative action...welfair...and the federal income tax. They are all unconstitutional.
